Former US Ambassador to Ireland and Chairman of the Pittsburgh Steelers Dan Rooney, joined GAA Director General Paraic Duffy, on the pitch at Beaver Stadium Pennsylvania
to officially launch the Croke Park Classic in the US.
The winner’s trophy has been named in Mr. Rooney’s honour and will be contested by Penn State and University of Central Florida on August 30th 2014. Tickets on sale at crokeparkclassic.ie.
