The TUS Gaelic Grounds Limerick hosted a series of games as part of the Under 11 Hurling Activity Day held on Friday July 26th.
Each club played 3 games and were also given a stadium tour conducted by Limerick Footballers Tony McCarthy and Peter Nash.
The clubs involved were Tubber, Ruan, Ballyea, Broadford, Corofin, Inagh Kilnamona and Ennistymon (all Clare); Tralee Parnells, Causeway, Ballyheigue, Kilmoyley, St Brendan’s Ardfert and Abbeydorney (all Kerry); Doon, Na Piarsaigh, Granagh Ballingarry, Monaleen, Templeglantine, St. Kierans, Knockainey, Ballybrown, Kildimo Pallaskenry and Newcastlewest (all Limerick) and Borrisokane (Tipperary).
Thanks to all the coaches involved in the organization of the event and to the coaches, parents and players involved with the participating clubs for helping to ensure an enjoyable day was had by all.
Activity Days have been completed at Fitzgerald Stadium Killarney and the TUS Gaelic Grounds Limerick while events at Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh and FBD Semple Stadium Thurles take place over the next couple of weeks.
